PIKO : A SKIP THROUGH TIME

“Piko: A Skip Through Moments” is a heartfelt animated short that captures the timeless magic of childhood through the street game of hopscotch. The story follows four children from different walks of life, each playing in their own corner of the world yet all connected by a single hopscotch grid and tiny stone.

With every hop and toss, the scene shifts, echoing the rhythm of youth. In a full circle moment, the children reappear as adults, revealing they had been friends all along. As one tosses the “pato”, it lands back at the beginning then bringing the story home to where it all began.

I did the animation, in-betweening, and line art for this scene. I also made and animated the background characters, created their color script, and drew the line art for the final group shot.”
